Brandt has been knownto use everything from bodily fluids to food to develop his photographs.Photographs from Matthew Brandt's Lakes and Reservoirs series weretaken in the Western U.S., developed as C-Prints, and then submergedin water drawn from the body of water depicted for several days, weeksor months. As the water breaks down the emulsion, vivid colors andpainterly passages emerge making each photograph unique.
