‘I am sniffing danger,’ the man said, sauntering around Migarasu dangerously. He came close to Migarasu and whispered, ‘A mortal was born a few hours ago.’
Elisha and Eshan, eleven-year-old twins, lived perfectly boring lives, until peculiar things started happening around Elisha. It all began with a birthmark at the nape of Elisha's neck and a series of recurring dreams. Their life turned topsy-turvy when they were abducted and taken to a subterranean kingdom called Ursalazen.
Be ready for talking tree stumps, the moon of Ursalazen that doesn’t wax and wane, sorcerers, fierce troll warriors called payamezens, the shape-shifters, people-eating creepers, a silver lion and three friendly ghosts who race through all this with Elisha and Eshan.
Secret of the Silver Lion starts in the most unassuming way but takes you swirling through war and magic at a pace that will both delight and leave you breathless.

Most novels of this genre are either ..way too fantastical or overridden with exaggerated mythology or in your face slapstick. But a friend of mine suggested me this novel ..and to be honest, here ..I was in for an amazing treat. Firstly, what caught my attention was the sheer freshness of voice and tone. It's honesty, simplicity yet charming eloquence blew my mind. Secondly, what I truly liked and loved was the simplicity and the innocence of the whole Plot. The narrative was relatable and compelling, without any addons of relentless absurdity. In short, to conclude, I would recommend this amazing work of fiction, as a must-read for anyone. This is truly a path-breaking work, elevating a whole genre out of the doldrums of epic battles and scorned heroes and heroines. I wouldn't even hesitate to call it our very own Desi ' Harry Potter'.
It’s a very well written book and I can’t wait for the next book! The imagination and the scenes are very well explained and I loved the style with which this book is written.
