About Author

NS Ramnath is a senior writer at Founding Fuel, and co-author of the book, The Aadhaar Effect. His main interests lie in technology, business, society, and how they interact and influence each other. He is also involved with How India Lives a data analysis and visualisation startup. Prior to Founding Fuel, Ramnath worked as a journalist with Forbes India and Economic Times. His stories have also appeared in The Hindu, Mint, Quartz and Scroll. He has degrees in economics and financial management from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. He was a 2014 Tow Knight Entrepreneurial Journalism Fellow at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. He won Polestar Award for business feature for his story Gigerenzer's Simple Rules in 2017. He tweets at @rmnth and spends his spare time reading on politics and philosophy.
