Riyaz Tayyibji is an architect and partner of the architecture office Anthill Design in Ahmedabad. Graduated from the School of Architecture CEPT, Ahmedabad. Prior to setting up Anthill Design he worked in Mumbai with Ranjit Sinh and Associates and then extensively with Prof. Neelkanth Chhaya on post-earthquake rehabilitation housing in the villages of Saurashtra. He was Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University till 2013. He instructed courses in the Fundamentals of Structures and The History and Theory of Architecture and Architectural Design.The architecture of Ahmedabad ranges from ancient to modern, from the Mughals to the last works of the contemporary Indian architects, including international masters like Le Corbusier and L. Kahn.
