Anu Aggarwal, born and educated in Delhi, shot to fame with her very first Bollywood movie, Aashiqui, but then turned her back on films and joined a yogashram. She had a near-fatal car accident that put her in coma for twenty-nine days but from which she miraculously recovered. She took sanyas, but then returned to Mumbai to teach yoga.
