Lorenzo Angeloni, a diplomat and a writer, has published several essays, reports and novels, the recurring themes of which are the fight against war, dialogue between societies and personal growth. Published in Italy, he is the author of In Darfur (Campanotto Editore, 2008); Behind My Scenes (Schena Editor, 2010); 300 Years (Guerra Editore, 2012) and The Quarantine (Guerra Publisher, 2016). In Darfur was later published in English as an e-book on Amazon Kindle. As a diplomat, he has served in Uruguay, Germany, Algeria, Sudan and Vietnam. He is currently the Ambassador of Italy in India.Giorgio and Michi- both middle aged, single and with a child each, are leading their own separate lives in the same corner of the world.
