Koushiki Choudhury teaches at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, USA. Her interests include the interface of management with philosophy, religion and psychology. Koushiki was a researcher at the University of California, USA, and worked for several years in the corporate sector, before joining academics. Her book Managing Workplace Stress: The Cognitive Behavioural Way, was published by Springer in 2012.This book explores the joyous, hope-filled and life-changing philosophies of Nichiren Buddhism and Rabindranath Tagore the practice of which empower us, transforming our sufferings, bringing forth our limitless potential and giving us the courage and confidence to overcome any adversity, and fulfill our dreams. In essence, the philosophies of Nichiren and Tagore enable us to find peace and happiness.
