Hello! I’m a children’s writer. My books have won some nice awards, including the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize, and my debut novel WILD BOY was named one of the five best of the year in the prestigious Branford Boase Award. I’ve also written picture books, fairy tales, books about history and books with flaps. Lots of flaps. My latest novel – ME, MY BROTHER AND THE MONSTER MELTDOWN – is out now. I co-wrote it with my two sons, based on a brilliant idea one of them had around the dinner table. It's my best book yet, which is funny because all of its best bits are theirs.
