About Author
Brought up on a diet of Everlasting Gobstoppers and Snozzcumbers, Stella Caldwell has long admired the incredible imagination and writing of Roald Dahl. She studied English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, and worked in book publishing as an editor for several years. She is the author of many other books for children including Dragonworld, Fairy World, Gods, Heroes and Monsters, and Explore 360: The Tomb of Tutankhamun.
Roald Dahl was a spy, ace fighter-pilot, chocolate historian and medical inventor. He was also the author of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Matilda', 'The BFG' and many more brilliant stories. He remains the World's No.1 storyteller.
Quentin Blake is one of the most famous children's illustrators in the world, and his funny, often subversive and unmistakeable style is synomymous with Roald Dahl's fiction.
