Two 12 year old boys; one Hindu and other Muslim become thick pals. They fall in love with each other’s sisters. Both couples marry in the face of opposition from their families. Boys are killed in communal riots while leading their respective religious groups, leaving behind their pregnant widows. During their next reincarnation, Hindu boy is reborn in Muslim family and Muslim boy enters womb of Hindu lady. As an irony of fate, they too fall in love with girls of opposite religion, continuing “A Never Ending Story” reconfirming “The Ultimate Truth” of life.
