He meets Ratty by the river and soon, both of them become good friends and bond together by spending lazy days by the river. However, they make the blunder by visiting Mr. Toad, who is rich and filled with a lively energy, but also reckless at times.

Toad, Mole and Ratty find themselves in the middle of a dangerous adventure that involves a robbery, a prison break and the famous attack on Toad Hall. The book has been redesigned with attractive visuals, while retaining the original flavour of the story.
