Prafull Anubhai did his BSc (economics) from the London School of Economics, and attended the programme for management development at Harvard Business School. He has thirty years of experience as chief executive of textile manufacturing operations, and has been a corporate advisor associated with educational institutions like the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), Ahmedabad Education Society (AES), Ahmedabad University, and Centre for Science, Technology and Policy. He is the chairman of the board of management at Ahmedabad University, a member of the governing board of AES and the honorary director of Saptak Archives, an institution dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Indian classical music. He is a director in companies like Unichem Laboratories, Vardhman Textiles, Birla Sun Life Trustee Co., GRUH Finance (a subsidiary of HDFC Ltd), and Torrent Cables, among others. He lives in Ahmedabad.
