Product Description

Over 500,000 copies of Robin's books have now sold through TCM. She's one of the fastest-growing children's book writers in the UK. Top Marks For Murder was a #1 children's paperback bestseller, a #2 overall children's bestseller, a Sunday Times bestseller and a Sunday Times Children's Book of the Week.An addictive blend of Enid Blyton and Agatha Christie, Murder Most Unladylike won the Waterstones Children's Book Prize (Younger Fiction) and A Spoonful of Murder was shortlisted for the Specsavers National Book Award.Features a diverse cast, including Hong Kong Chinese heroine Hazel Wong, and sensitively covers themes of racism, class and LGBTQ+ relationships. This newest story takes us back to the beloved boarding school setting of Deepdean School for Girls. With brilliantly drawn friendships and rivalries, midnight feasts galore, and featuring readers' favourite characters from the series, this is a must-read for any Murder Most Unladylike fan.

Robin Stevens was born in California and grew up in an Oxford college, across the road from the house where Alice in Wonderland lived. She has been making up stories all her life.

When she was twelve, her father handed her a copy of The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and she realised that she wanted to be either Hercule Poirot or Agatha Christie when she grew up. She spent her teenage years at Cheltenham Ladies' College, reading a lot of murder mysteries and hoping that she'd get the chance to do some detecting herself (she didn't). She went to university, where she studied crime fiction, and then she worked at a children's publisher.

Robin is now a full-time author and the creator of the internationally award-winning and bestselling Murder Most Unladylike series, starring Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong, and the brand-new Ministry of Unladylike Activity. She still hopes she might get the chance to do some detecting of her own one day. She lives in Oxford.
