A very fantastic storytelling book. I think that is the reason this book is so famous. It has crafted Santiago's story with n for his flocks. Very interesting yet thoughtful conversation with his father. His dream and in his journey, he met the gypsy old woman, the king of Salem. His care n love for his sheep n also his desire to meet the merchant's daughter is underlined in the book. His way to find the treasure was very difficult, as he was completely unaware about it. On his way to find treasure, he met many people n learned many new things. It was good to know people like the crystal merchant, the Englishman, Fatima, the stranger, the tribal chieftain, the alchemist, before n after he found his treasure. Overall it was the great adventure, magical, n thoughtful journey with a Shepherd.
