If High Salaries Don't Guarantee Financial Freedom, What Does?

A few years ago, I noticed a strange pattern among the people around me. I knew folks bringing home ₹40,000-₹50,000 a month who were quietly building real wealth, investing smart, and sleeping fine at night.
At the same time, I knew people pulling in ₹3 lakh-₹4 lakh a month who were constantly stressed, living paycheck to paycheck, and trapped on a lifestyle treadmill.
It forced me to look at the math and ask a tough question: If high salaries don't guarantee financial freedom, what does?

The truth is, most of us were handed an outdated playbook. We are told to work hard, climb the corporate ladder, save a little, and just pray it all works out in the end. But playing by those old rules is exactly why so many high earners feel stuck.

That’s the exact reason I wrote my new book, Let Money Chase You.
This book is not about getting rich quickly. It is not about risky trading strategies or unrealistic promises. Instead, it is about understanding how money really works and how ordinary people can build extraordinary financial lives through better decisions.

In Let Money Chase You, I explain the three types of income and why understanding them can completely change your financial future. One of the most eye-opening sections challenges some of the most common beliefs about assets:

  • Is your car really an asset?

  • Is your house always a good investment?

  • Why is time your most valuable asset?

A major theme throughout the book is leverage. The 90/10 Rule of Wealth explains why a small number of actions often create most of the results in life. Whether it is career growth, investing, business, or personal development, understanding this principle can help you focus on what truly matters.

I have seen people earn well for 20 years and still struggle financially. In many cases, the problem was not income. It was debt, poor financial habits, and decisions that looked small at the time but became expensive later.

One lesson I learned after spending 15 years in the stock market is that investing is often more about behavior than intelligence. The best investors are not always the smartest. They are usually the most disciplined.

That is why I dedicated a significant part of the book to investing. Readers will learn how to think during market crashes, why ETFs can be powerful wealth-building tools, and how to create a long-term investment approach without spending hours studying markets every day.

Money and career are deeply connected. That is why I dedicated an entire chapter to career growth. Topics such as finding mentors, taking responsibility, building relationships, improving communication, and treating your job as a learning opportunity can help accelerate both career and financial growth.

While writing this book, I spent hundreds of hours studying people like Warren Buffett, Elon Musk, Mukesh Ambani, and Jensen Huang. I wanted to understand one question: Why do some people create extraordinary wealth while others struggle despite working hard?

During the last few years, I have seen AI change the way people learn, work, and earn. That is why I included an entire chapter on AI. My goal is simple: help readers use AI as an opportunity instead of fearing it as a threat.

The book concludes with one of the most important subjects in finance: psychology. Many people lose money not because they lack intelligence, but because emotions influence their decisions. Understanding behavioural biases, emotional mistakes, and investor psychology can help readers make better financial choices for decades to come.

Let Money Chase You is a book for students, working professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and anyone who wants a better understanding of money and wealth. It combines personal finance, investing, career development, psychology, business wisdom, and AI into one practical roadmap.

If you are ready to stop chasing money and start building a life where money naturally follows value, growth, and smart decisions, this book is for you.

Because true wealth is not about earning more. It is about thinking differently.

And that journey begins with Let Money Chase You.
