Book Summary
And The Prophet Said invites you to explore a newly discovered collection that expands on Kahlil Gibran's timeless classic, The Prophet. This complete gift edition adds over 150 newly uncovered poems, aphorisms, and epigrams, offering a fresh lens on love, beauty, and the mystery of life. Ideal for readers who enjoy poetic philosophy and reflective prose, from curious teens to adults seeking comfort, inspiration, and a devotional pace.
Organized as a thoughtfully curated continuation, And The Prophet Said presents Gibran's beloved voice alongside newly unearthed writings. The pieces flow with the same lyrical cadence that made The Prophet a touchstone for generations, while the 150+ additional works broaden motifs of love, marriage, friendship, prayer, beauty, and mortality.
Edited to preserve the quiet power of Gibran's visions, the book invites contemplative reading. The format blends short meditations with longer reflections, creating a paced experience that is as soothing as it is illuminating. The newly discovered material—from the Gibran/Haskell archives at the University of North Carolina and uncovered in 2017 by Dalton Hilu Einhorn—adds depth and fresh perspectives without altering the voice readers know and trust.
After finishing And The Prophet Said, readers carry forward a renewed sense of wonder and purpose, feeling inspired to reflect more deeply on life and to approach others with greater kindness. The lasting value of this collection is a timeless source of guidance and a companion for quiet moments of contemplation.
