About Author
Sidney Sheldon was born in Chicago, Illinois. He has published eighteen novels which have sold nearly 300 million copies all over the world. Sheldon worked for nearly twenty years in the television industry before turning to writing. He won the Academy Award for Writing Original Screenplay in 1947 for the Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer. In 2004, he published an autobiography The Other of Me.
