Aesop’s Fables is a collection of stories first told thousands of years ago by Aesop, a storyteller and slave who lived in ancient Greece. Many of the fables have survived the test of time, having been told and retold in various forms and formats. Aimed at both entertaining and imparting wisdom, these are anthropomorphic tales of animals – some wise, some foolish, some greedy, some giving. Each story has a moral at its heart and ultimately teaches people to be smarter and kinder in every aspect of their lives.
