Kanika Jain Gupta can be best described by her passion for illustrations and her penchant for design. She began her journey at the JJ School of Art where she graduated top of her class in 2007. She then went on to complete her summer residency program at the School of Visual Arts NYC. After gaining invaluable experience working for prestigious design houses, she took her next big step in launching Iktaara, a graphic art house. With Iktaara she gave impetus to her ambitions of combining the modern and the traditional in her designs to cater to a wider audience in both India and abroad. As an internationally acclaimed illustrator known for her unique and creative designs she has been invited to various reputable institutes such as the Indian Institute of Management to inspire budding entrepreneurs and designers. Accredited with the Design Quest award, she was also among those chosen to represent India in a design conference at Milan, Italy. In her free time she enjoys meditating, listening to music and loves to travel.
