About Author

Ranjit Lal is the author of around fifty books for children and adults. His abiding interest in natural history, conversation, birds, animals and insects is reflected in many of his books. He was awarded the Zeiss Wildlife Lifetime Conservation Award for 2019 for writing 'with exceptional literary skills' on the conservation of wildlife, especially birds. As a journalist, he has had well over 2000 articles published in the national and international press. He lives in Delhi. Anushua Sinha is an illustrator who brings stories to life in unexpected ways. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, she focuses on editorial and children's book illustrations, often weaving themes of environmentalism into her work. Her art, recognized by 3x3 Magazine, Creative Quarterly and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, is filled with warmth and heart, making life and her work a colorful adventure.
