The 16 rubrics or parameters discussed in this book are vital for excelling in the content game. I found them highly relevant, and the techniques are both easy to grasp and apply. The included checklist is a gem—I plan to keep it handy for all my content creation. This book is especially valuable for those working with long-form content.
There are some books that don’t just sit on your shelf—they sit in your heart. Boundless by K.R. Thakur is one such book that felt like it found me at the right time.
As I turned the pages, I felt like I was gently being pulled into a quiet, soulful conversation—one that spoke about life, love, pain, growth, and above all, healing. There’s a gentle honesty in the way K.R. Thakur shares his life.
This wasn’t just about reading someone else’s life—it was about feeling it. Every struggle, every reflection, every small yet significant moment felt deeply personal. At times, I forgot I was reading a book.
This memoir is many things—a reflection on resilience, a tribute to perseverance, a journey through personal and professional milestones—but at its heart, it’s a love story. A love not just for the work he did, but for the woman who walked every step of life with him.
K.R. Thakur doesn’t try to glamorize his struggles or achievements. He tells his story with raw sincerity—one that quietly pulls you in. But what truly stayed with me was his relationship with Raj. The handwritten letters from their early days, the way they built a life together, and the depth of respect and affection he carries for her—it’s rare to see love written with such dignity and grace.
If you love memoirs that are rich in emotion, honesty, and quiet inspiration, this book is for you.
𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: 𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒
𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫: 𝐊. 𝐑 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐫
• 𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒: 𝐀 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄, 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 is a challenging journey of 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 to become a success 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫. This focuses on K. R Thakur's life which also highlights a profound love story.
• At the age of five he was displaced from Sindh to Pakistan (it feels so uncertain). He faced numerous hardships but his will was as strong as he was. He was willing to continue his education and eventually it worked - he became a mechanical and nuclear engineer! In 1970s his fortune got high when he went forward into entrepreneurship - he started a business in transmission lines that expanded over 50 countries (for you maybe it can be fortune but for me it's hardwork).
• But this book is not only about his achievement but also about the source and inspiration and healthy lifestyle behind this success - more than that it was all about 𝐑𝐚𝐣, his wife.
• The whole book talks about much more than experience and this is what I want to mention - he was full of determination and resilience (and that well all lack). His early life was full of adversity, but his unwavering commitment towards himself made him a gentleman who truly knew how to be in your present to create that future. His transition from engineering profession to an entrepreneur is enlightening. Ups and downs come but it's all about how you accept the challenge and perform according to it.
• Not to mention about 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 - Thakur's relationship with Raj is a tale of dedication. Raj's dedication towards social causes with a challenge to establish a school for underprivileged children sometimes underscores the power of partnership in both personal and professional context. It's worth knowing more about Raj.
• This book as a memoir serves as a distinguished heartfelt tribute to her life and their shared journey. The writing style is full of sincerity and emotional connection. The storytelling is straightforward and easy to adapt. The clarity with the easy mannerisms in writing style makes it an easily accessible book. The themes made me feel familiar with the book long before I could fully realise the true notion of this book.
• The author's own life journey makes it more easy to grip the plotline as the post partition era is somehow challenging to go with the flow. The border themes make it an encouraging read for all those who love to know about this essence of partition.
This book was my first memoire and I’m in awe with how beautifully the author’s love for his wife has been documented. It was such a refreshing change from the modern day men calling their wives anchors who pull them down. Rather the author clearly narrated how his wife was the spirited one amongst them. Despite being diagnosed with a rare condition ASL, she did not lose hope . . . although unfortunately, she lost the battle of life.
The book felt like watching an old school bollywood movie which starts with a family moving to a new place. The author worked hard to achieve his dreams of having a successful career. Then there was a shift to entrepreneurship which was a huge step in those times. Because the only motto of people was to have a stable source of income. But he chose to do something more with his life and his wife supported him in that.
The author has shared many wonderful stories about Raj ma’am . . . not only in the book but also in several of his interviews. I admire how fondly he speaks about her. It’s the kind of love that we hear about but only a small ratio gets to experience it.
It was a beautiful read. Very light and easy going . . . with colourful pictures that kept me entranced.
I would like to mentioned the name of a store manager Mr.Kishore from Inorbit mall, crossword store, vadodara where I requested an extended support for delivering one gift. He is extremely helpful and immediately agreed to give me an experience of customer service which is rare to see these days. I called from Indore to help me deliver one gift book from crossword store in vadodara and he certainly helped me with that. Crossword has certainly gained wonderful employees and I wish them to retain and give good progress for such customer service.
