When life bowls you a googly, how do you score?
Brighabujamba 'Bee' Vishwanathan hates her name, her current job at Krikket-365, and cricket itself. But to keep the job she hates, Bee has to score an exclusive with a member of the Indian team before the T20 World Cup. So, she lands on the balcony of the hottest man in Indian cricket like an unexpected doosra: Assistant Coach Arhan Kapoor. Bee thinks spying and spying and being caught out by the assistant coach is the worst thing that could happen to her career.
Then she finds out what worst actually means.
Arhan Kapoor loves cricket with a passion that is only rivaled by his hatred of journalists. After the team is affected by the untimely death of their vice-captain, Arhan has only two mandates: motivate the players to a win. And keep them away from the media. When nosy reporter Bee Vishwanathan successfully manages to full toss her way into the team, he fears the worst.
Then the worst actually starts to happen. India's physiotherapist turns up dead. Someone is out to hurt Bee. And all signs point to a match-fixing scandal.
Can two people on opposite sides of a pitch, trust each other and bring down a cold-blooded killer? Or is it match over before the last ball is bowled?
