WHAT DO WE MAKE? - Make 4 sparkling pictures of 2 adorable ponies, a Unicorn and the Pegasus in their matching backdrops using coloured sand, sequins, and sparkle. Sand and sequin art pictures are quite easy to do, unlike painting. Moreover, they are non-messy art and craft activity.
WHAT’s IN THIS KIT? - 3 colour assortment of sequins and 11 sand colours in sachets along with sparkle are provided in the kit. Your kid sticks them on the pictures as per the instructions using craft glue. The spatula is provided as an aid for this activity.

Picture sparkled with sand sequins and glitter
Method
Select a pre-determined area of the picture and apply glue.
If the area needs sand the sprinkle sand (of the appropriate colour ) on the gummed area. Gently apply a little pressure using the flat end of the small spatula provided in the kit. You can also mix sand with glitter powder and apply this mixture wherever you deem fit. Remove the excess sand by slanting the picture and collecting it to be reused. Repeat steps 1-3 in other areas where sand of other colours is required.
Now select areas where you would like to fill in with white sparkle. Apply glue over the target area. Stick white sparkle (carefully and firmly) with the help of the spatula. Repeat steps 5-6 in other areas meant for sparkle.
Next select areas where you would like to fill in with sequins. Apply glue over the target area. Stick sequins (carefully and firmly) with colours of your choice using the pointed end of the spatula. Repeat steps 8 and 9 in other areas meant for sequins.
· As a natural choice, the hair and body of the animal are filled in with sand and sparkle and other parts are highlighted with sequins.
· Finally sprinkle glitter powder in specific areas in the rest of the picture.
· Using the same technique decorate the other pony pictures.
· Proudly showcase your work of art for others to marvel over. For longer preservation frame the best pictures.
