Product Description

Mark Antony is part of the legendary Roman triumvirate, a soldier said to be descended from Hercules himself. His passionate affair with the enigmatic Egyptian queen, Cleopatra, is frowned upon by his fellow Romans. Exploring the tragedy that occurs when the boundaries between the personal and political begin to blur, Antony and Cleopatra is a consummate study on state-craft, as well as the poignant re-telling of a two-thousand-year-old love story that has never ceased to fascinate the world.
