About Author

Dr. V. Rangraj completed his Management education from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai and PhD from University of Mumbai. He served for almost 18 years in the US Consulate-General, Mumbai as a Trade Specialist and was awarded Meritorious Honor Award Medal by the US Department od State, Washington DC. He received training in trade promotion techniques at Foreign Service Institute, Washington DC and thereafter in International Marketing from Boston College, Boston. Dr. rangraj was elected as President of Indo American Chamber of Commerce in the year 2003.

Dr. Pratiba Naitthani is Associate Professor and Head of Political Science Dept in St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Her Ph. D deals with the conflict between traditional forest rights of the tribal communities and conservation policies in NDBR area of Uttarakhand. She has been taking up issues related to welfare of Women, Children and Tribals and has received various awards acknowledging her contribution in this field.
