Angela Hewitt is one of those rare adults whose vivid, childlike imagination still thrives, and is very much a part of her life; the joy and wonder she finds in the world is easily visible in her illustrations.
Largely self-taught, she has been drawing since she could first hold a crayon, and with the support and encouragement of her family, pursued her passion to make art her dream career.
She loves a good book shop and can spend hours browsing the shelves – children’s books being
her particular favourite. She lives on the edge of the Derbyshire Dales, with her husband and one very mischievous cat!
