Shree Ramcharitmanas is an epic poem written in the 16th century by Indian poet-saint Tulsidas. The sixth chapter, the "Lanka Kanda," narrates the story of the war between Rama & Ravana, & Rama's eventual victory over the demon king. The final chapter, the "Uttara Kanda," describes the events that take place after Rama's return to Ayodhya, including the birth of his sons & his eventual departure from the world.
